QED Solutions Ltd is a leading channel for business solutions into Africa. QED seeks to recruit and train interns in the field of Information Technology. The candidates should posses the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A CPA (K) or at least CPA level 3 will be an added advantage
  • Skilled as a System Administrator – providing support of Windows servers in a virtualized environment
  • Skilled in the following technologies: IIS, SQL Server, TCP/IP, backup/recovery
  • Prior exposure implementing ERP system – added advantage if you have implemented Sage X3
  • Virtualization technology e.g. VMWare and VirtualBox
  • Knowledge of principles and methods used to identify business requirements and to analyze and design technology solutions that meet these requirements
  • Knowledge of the principles and methods of web technologies, tools and delivery systems. Skill in troubleshooting production issues and in the use of troubleshooting and trace tools
  • Knowledge of Project Management tools, such as Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Excel.
